KFS, LLC – Denver, Colorado. The Staff Geologist/Environmental Engineer will support investigation, characterization, and remediation work at contaminated sites, to include; CERCLA, RCRA, or other properties. The candidate will be required to travel and perform field work activities on various projects in the US and internationally, be capable of directing and working with subcontractors, and writing sections of environmental related documents. Travel up to 60% of the time with field mobilizations averaging two to three weeks.

The candidate will report directly to the project manager and be required to travel and perform field work activities on various projects in the US and internationally.
KFS is looking for Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) Technicians who are proficient in AutoCAD and Bentley Microstation. The CAD Technician I must have a good understanding of architectural floor plans and AEC standards and the ability to create detailed floor plans from field drawings.
The primary duties of the Military Master Planner will be to direct a team and plan medium- to large-size DoD and other Federal planning and asset management projects, as well as to plan, prepare, and develop documents in compliance with Federal and DoD policies. The Military Master Planner will direct the work of others in the completion of required studies, documents, and reports.
The Environmental Engineer, PE will be required to work in a wide range of settings with varied responsibilities to determine the environmental impacts to Airspace, Hazardous Materials and Waste, Noise, and Transportation as they relate to compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The Environmental Engineer, PE will prepare document sections in compliance with NEPA including Environmental Assessments (EAs), Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), Categorical Exclusions, and Records of Environmental Consideration. Duties will include data collection to update the affected environment, determine the environmental consequences to the effective environment as well as any cumulative impacts. Travel to project location for site visit(s) would be required.
The Cultural Resources Specialist III will be required to work in a wide range of settings with varied responsibilities and assignments thought the United States and other countries or territories. The Cultural Resources Specialist III is responsible for implementation and oversight of cultural resources projects and analysis at KFS. Primary responsibilities include preparing technical NEPA document requirements for cultural resources relating to Sections 106, 110, and 402 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA); performing cultural monitoring activities for the execution of cultural resources projects, including client communications; coordinating with regulators and Native American Tribes; managing subcontractors; and performing field surveys.
KFS is looking for a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Specialist to support environmental planning efforts for the Space & Missile Defense Command. The NEPA Specialist will provide a wide range of regulatory analysis and support under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for operational, depot and recapitalization level planning, design and construction efforts.
